Hi, I'm Kaitlyn!

Founder and sole maker behind The Pinned Prairie. I’ve been sewing since I was 11, spending every summer growing up in sewing classes until I graduated high school. While I now design wedding veils for a living, quilting has become a true passion of mine in recent years. Each quilt I make is finished with my signature prairie point binding.

I recently began offering my quilts and handmade baby toys as a way to earn extra income to help cover the ongoing out-of-pocket costs of fertility treatments and procedures. When you purchase from me, you’re not just buying a quilt. You’re helping bring my husband and me one step closer to the day we can finally wrap our own miracle babies in the same quilts I create for others.
